Abstract
Disclosed herein are polynucleotides encoding cell tags for use in immunotherapeutic applications, and systems comprising polynucleotide cell tags for regulating the activity of a cell. The compositions, methods and systems described herein provide tools for regulating activity of genetically engineered cells in a subject.

A method of regulating activity of a genetically engineered cell in a subject comprising providing to the subject a genetically engineered cell encoding a cell surface polypeptide and a trans-membrane dimerization domain, wherein:
- the trans-membrane dimerization domain induces dimerization of the cell surface polypeptide;
- and the cell surface polypeptide binds a predetermined antibody or a variant or fragment thereof.
A method of regulating activity of a genetically engineered cell in a subject comprising providing to the subject a genetically engineered cell and a binding partner in an amount sufficient to bind to and thereby regulate activity of the genetically engineered cell, wherein the genetically engineered cell expresses a cell surface polypeptide comprising at least one of a HER1 polypeptide, a LNGFR polypeptide, a CD20 polypeptide, a CD52 polypeptide, or a variant or fragment thereof.
A method of regulating activity of a genetically engineered cell in a subject comprising providing to the subject a predetermined antibody or a variant or fragment thereof, wherein:
- the genetically engineered cell comprises a cell surface polypeptide and a trans-membrane dimerization domain;
- the trans-membrane dimerization domain induces dimerization of the cell surface polypeptide;
- and the cell surface polypeptide binds the predetermined antibody or a variant or fragment thereof.
