Abstract
Provided are an ultraviolet absorbing agent represented by General Formula (1) and an application thereof. In General Formula (1), R11 represents a monovalent substituent. n is 1 or 2. W1 and W2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a nitro group, an acyl group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfinyl group, an arylsulfinyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group, where at least one of W1 or W2 represents a substituent having a Hammett's substituent constant σp value of 0.2 or more. W1 and W2 may be bonded to each other to form a ring.
Claims10
An ultraviolet absorbing agent represented by General Formula (1),
- wherein, in General Formula (1), R11 represents a monovalent substituent, n is 1 or 2, where in a case where n is 2, two existing R11's may be the same or different from each other,
- W1 and W2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a nitro group, an acyl group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfinyl group, an arylsulfinyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group, where at least one of W1 or W2 represents a substituent having a Hammett's substituent constant σp value of 0.2 or more, and W1 and W2 may be bonded to each other to form a ring, and
- at least one group of R11, W1, or W2 has an acid group selected from the group consisting of a sulfonic acid group, a carboxylic acid group, and a phosphoric acid group.
A compound represented by General Formula (4),
- wherein, in General Formula (4), L1 and L2 each independently represent an alkylene group,
- X's each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a countercation of —SO3−, and
- W1 and W2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a nitro group, an acyl group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfinyl group, an arylsulfinyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group, where at least one of W1 or W2 represents a substituent having a Hammett's substituent constant σp value of 0.2 or more, and W1 and W2 may be bonded to each other to form a ring.
