Abstract
The present invention concerns methods for treating multiple sclerosis (MS) in a patient, and an article of manufacture with instructions for such use.
Claims37
A method of treating multiple sclerosis in a patient comprising administering an effective amount of an anti-CD20 antibody to the patient to provide an initial anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.2 grams followed by a second anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.2 grams, the second dose not being provided until from about 24 weeks from the initial dose,
- wherein the anti-CD20 antibody comprises a VH domain comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 8, a VL domain comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 7, and a human IgG1 constant region, and
- wherein the patient weighs less than about 75 kg at the time of the first anti-CD20 antibody dose.
A method of treating multiple sclerosis in a patient comprising administering an effective amount of an anti-CD20 antibody to the patient to provide an initial anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.2 grams followed by a second anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.2 grams, the second dose not being provided until from about 6 months from the initial dose,
- wherein the anti-CD20 antibody comprises a VH domain comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 8, a VL domain comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 7, and a human IgG1 constant region, and
- wherein the patient weighs less than about 75 kg at the time of the first anti-CD20 antibody dose.
A method of treating multiple sclerosis in a patient comprising administering an effective amount of an anti-CD20 antibody to the patient to provide an initial anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.8 grams followed by a second anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.8 grams, the second dose not being provided until from about 24 weeks from the initial dose,
- wherein the anti-CD20 antibody comprises a VH domain comprising the amino acid set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 8, a VL domain comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 7, and a human IgG1 constant region, and
- wherein the patient weighs about 75 kg or more at the time of the first anti-CD20 antibody dose.
A method of treating multiple sclerosis in a patient comprising administering an effective amount of an anti-CD20 antibody to the patient to provide an initial anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.8 grams followed by a second anti-CD20 antibody dose of about 1.8 grams, the second dose not being provided until from about 6 months from the initial dose,
- wherein the anti-CD20 antibody comprises a VH domain comprising the amino acid set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 8, a VL domain comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
