Claims22
An isolated recombinant polypeptide, comprising or consisting of:
- a β-solenoid structured polypeptide comprising amino acids from an innocuous β-solenoid scaffold polypeptide and a plurality of epitope amino acids from a disease associated polypeptide with exposed side chains that project or are predicted to project to an exterior position of the β-solenoid domain, said plurality of epitope amino acids define an epitope from the disease associated polypeptide, preferably said plurality of epitope amino acids are every second residue in a β-strand of said β-solenoid scaffold polypeptide.
