Abstract
An unmanned aerial vehicle and control method thereof are provided. Data associated with the unmanned aerial vehicle that is to be communicated during handoff is identified. A service supplier is informed of an operational status of the unmanned aerial vehicle based on the identified data. Instructions corresponding to operation of the unmanned aerial vehicle are received from the service supplier.
Claims20
A method for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), executable by a processor, comprising:
- identifying data associated with the UAV to be communicated during handoff;
- informing a service supplier of an operational status of the UAV based on the identified data;
- and
- receiving instructions corresponding to operation of the UAV from the service supplier.
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), comprising:
- one or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media configured to store computer program code;
- and
- one or more computer processors configured to access said computer program code and operate as instructed by said computer program code, said computer program code including:
- identifying code configured to cause the one or more computer processors to identify data associated with the UAV to be communicated during handoff;
- informing code configured to cause the one or more computer processors to inform a service supplier of an operational status of the UAV based on the identified data;
- and
- receiving code configured to cause the one or more computer processors to receive instructions corresponding to operation of the UAV from the service supplier.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon a computer program for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the computer program configured to cause one or more computer processors to:
- identify data associated with the UAV to be communicated during handoff;
- inform a service supplier of an operational status of the UAV based on the identified data;
- and
- receive instructions corresponding to operation of the UAV from the service supplier.
