Abstract
The embodiment discloses an electrode array including a housing; a plurality of first contact electrodes exposed to an outside of the housing; a plurality of second contact electrodes exposed to the outside of the housing; a first wire group disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the first contact electrodes; and a second wire group disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the second contact electrodes, the plurality of first contact electrodes and the first wire group being disposed on different planes within the housing.
Claims13
An electrode array comprising:
- a housing;
- a plurality of first contact electrodes exposed to an outside of the housing;
- a plurality of second contact electrodes exposed to the outside of the housing;
- a first wire group disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the first contact electrodes;
- and
- a second wire group disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the second contact electrodes,
- wherein the plurality of first contact electrodes and the first wire group are disposed on different planes within the housing.
A body-implantable device comprising:
- a first unit including a transmitter;
- and
- a second unit that is able to communicate with the first unit;
- wherein the second unit includes a circuit to generate a stimulation signal by processing an electrical signal, and an electrode array including a plurality of power sources to which a current signal is applied in response to the stimulation signal, and
- wherein the electrode array includes:
- a housing;
- a plurality of first contact electrodes exposed to an outside of the housing;
- a plurality of second contact electrodes exposed to the outside of the housing;
- a first wire group disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the first contact electrodes;
- and
- a second wire group disposed inside the housing and electrically connected to the second contact electrodes,
- the plurality of first contact electrodes and the first wire group are disposed on different planes within the housing.
A method of manufacturing an electrode array, comprising the steps of:
- preparing a first electrode structure including a plurality of first contact electrodes, a first wire group, and a first connection wire;
- preparing a second electrode structure including a plurality of first contact electrodes, a first wire group, and a second connection wire;
- and
- folding the second electrode structure and the first electrode structure.
