Abstract
An apparatus for endodontic treatment, comprising: a nozzle connected to a fluid source comprising: a tip small enough to be inserted into a pulp chamber of a tooth; an inner geometry which forms a flow parameters including non-axial flow direction of nozzle fluid flowing through the inner geometry such that discharge fluid discharged from the inner geometry increase rotation of root canal fluid within a root canal sufficiently to remove tissue from the root canal.

A dental apparatus comprising:
- an internal chamber;
- a fluid inlet in fluid communication with the internal chamber, the fluid inlet configured to direct a treatment liquid into the internal chamber onto an internal surface to impart rotation to the treatment liquid in the internal chamber;
- an exit hole in fluid communication with the internal chamber, the exit hole configured to convey the rotating treatment liquid to a treatment region of a tooth;
- and
- an aperture in fluid communication with the treatment region, the aperture configured to connect to a pump to exert a suction force to remove liquid from the treatment region.

A dental apparatus comprising:
- a nozzle comprising an internal chamber and a fluid inlet in fluid communication with the internal chamber, the fluid inlet configured to direct a treatment liquid into the internal chamber against a surface to generate a spinning flow in the nozzle and in a treatment region of a tooth;
- and
- an aperture in fluid communication with the treatment region, the aperture configured to connect to a pump to exert a suction force to remove liquid from the treatment region.
A dental apparatus comprising:
- a handgrip comprising an internal tube;
- a nozzle connected to the handgrip, the nozzle comprising an internal space in fluid communication with the internal tube by way of an upper entry hole, the upper entry hole oriented to inject liquid from the internal tube horizontally into the internal space and onto an internal surface of the nozzle, the internal surface configured to impart rotation to the injected liquid and to redirect the rotating liquid in a downward direction through a lower exit hole to treat a tooth;
- and
- an aperture in fluid communication with a second internal tube in the handgrip, the aperture and the second internal tube configured to connect to a pump to exert a suction force to drain liquids from the tooth.

- a nozzle connected to the handgrip, the nozzle comprising an internal surface configured to impart rotation to an injected liquid and to redirect the rotating liquid in a downward direction through a lower exit hole to treat a tooth;
