Abstract
A bed, particularly a baby cot, with features for adaptation to variations in temperature and humidity.

A bed comprising a sleeping surface and an elevation mechanism arranged to control the elevation of the sleeping surface, characterised in that the bed further comprises at least one temperature sensor configured to measure temperature in the environment surrounding the bed and/or at least one humidity sensor configured to measure humidity in the environment surrounding the bed, and the elevation mechanism is configured to alter the height of the sleeping surface based on signals from the at least one temperature sensor and/or the at least one humidity sensor.
