A method for controlling nematodes wherein said method comprises contacting the nematodes with a microbe-based nematicidal composition that has been prepared by cultivating a microorganism under conditions such that the microorganism produces a biosurfactant, wherein said nematicidal composition comprises the microorganism and/or broth in which the microorganism is cultivated.
A composition for controlling nematodes wherein said composition comprises a biosurfactant and a microorganism that produces said biosurfactant.
A method for controlling nematodes wherein said method comprises applying to the nematodes, and/or to the environment of the nematodes, a mannosylerytrithol lipid (MEL).
