Electronic lighting device and method for manufacturing same

An electronic lighting device, comprising:

• an outer shell having a shape to resemble a candle;
• a flame-shaped element including a lower portion and an upper portion, wherein the flame-shaped element comprises an embedded elongated component therein that is visible through a material of the flame-shaped element to resemble a candle wick;
• a core positioned inside the outer shell, the core including a through hole allowing the upper portion of the flame-shaped element to be exposed above a top section of the core;
• a support rod positioned to pass through a middle portion of the flame-shaped element between the upper portion and the lower portion, the support rod allowing the flame-shaped element to be movably supported;
• a magnetic element coupled to the lower portion of the flame-shaped element, and
• a coil that is configured to receive an electric current that energizes the coil to produce a magnetic field that interacts with the magnetic element to induce movements of the flame-shaped element;
• multiple light-emitting elements positioned within the outer shell configured to simulate illumination produced by a candle flame, wherein the multiple light-emitting elements are oriented at an inclined angle with respect to the flame-shaped element and are configured to emit different colors of light directed to different portions of the flame-shaped element that overlap at least partially with each other, wherein at least one of the multiple portions of the flame-shaped element is configured to receive light from at least one of the multiple light-emitting elements to form an elliptically shaped illumination area that extends upward from a tip of the embedded elongated component within the upper portion of the flame-shaped element;
• and
• a control circuitry comprising electronic components to control an operation of the one or more light emitting elements.
