## Abstract

A terminal includes a receiving unit that receives information indicating whether each condition of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment is activated or deactivated; and a control unit that independently activates or deactivates each condition of the one or more conditions in accordance with the received information.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A terminal comprising:
a receiving unit that receives information indicating whether each condition of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment is activated or deactivated; and
a control unit that independently activates or deactivates each condition of the one or more conditions in accordance with the received information.

### Claim 2

A terminal comprising:
a receiving unit that receives information indicating one combination from among one or more possible combinations of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment; and
a control unit that configures the one combination of the one or more conditions based on the received information.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The terminal according to claim 2, wherein, when the one combination includes a plurality of conditions, the receiving unit receives information indicating priority of each condition of the plurality of conditions included in the one combination, and
wherein the control unit configures the priority of each condition of the plurality of conditions included in the one combination in accordance with the received information indicating dependency.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The terminal according to claim 3, wherein, when the plurality of conditions included in the one combination includes a first condition and a second condition, and when priority assigned to the first condition is higher than priority assigned to the second condition, the control unit determines that a condition to validate the time alignment is satisfied upon detecting that the first condition is satisfied, regardless of whether the second condition is satisfied.

### Claim 5 (depends on 3)

The terminal according to claim 3, wherein, when the plurality of conditions included in the one combination includes a first condition and a second condition, and when the priority assigned to the first condition is higher than priority assigned to the second condition, the control unit determines that a condition to validate the time alignment is not satisfied upon detecting that the first condition is not satisfied, even if the second condition is satisfied.

### Claim 6

A communication method executed by a terminal, the method comprising:
receiving information indicating one combination from among one or more possible combinations of one or more conditions for validating a time alignment; and
configuring the one combination of the one or more conditions based on the received information.

### Claim 7

A base station comprising:
a control unit that configures information indicating whether a condition is to be activated or deactivated, wherein the condition is to be considered by a terminal in an idle mode to determine whether to validate a time alignment; and
a transmitting unit that transmits the information configured by the control unit to the terminal in the idle mode.
