Abstract
A shovel includes a detecting part configured to detect a person around the shovel. The detecting part detects a first person with a relatively high probability, a second person with a relatively lower probability than the first person, and a third person with a relatively lower probability than the second person, wherein the first person wears both a helmet and clothing with a reflective material, the second person wears one of the helmet and the clothing with the reflective material, and the third person wears neither the helmet nor the clothing with the reflective material.

A shovel comprising:
- a detecting part configured to detect a person around the shovel,
- wherein the detecting part detects a first person with a relatively high probability, a second person with a relatively lower probability than the first person, and a third person with a relatively lower probability than the second person, wherein the first person wears both a helmet and clothing with a reflective material, the second person wears one of the helmet and the clothing with the reflective material, and the third person wears neither the helmet nor the clothing with the reflective material.
A safety equipment confirmation system at a worksite, the safety equipment confirmation system comprising:
- a plurality of different types of sensors;
- and
- an identification device configured to detect, based on outputs of the sensors, a worker at the worksite where a plurality of pieces of safety equipment are recommended or required to be worn, and identify a wearing state of each piece of the plurality of pieces of safety equipment by the worker.
