A data processing method, an access network device, and a core network device are provided. The method comprises: the access network device receives first information sent by the core network device or a terminal device; the access network device determines, according to the first information, whether to perform security processing on data to be processed.

A data processing method, comprising:
- sending, by a core network device, first information to an access network device, wherein the first information is used for the access network device to determine whether to perform security processing on to-be-processed data.
An access network device, wherein the access network device comprises:
- a transceiver, configured to receive first information sent by a core network device or a terminal device;
- and
- a processor, configured to determine, according to the first information, whether to perform security processing on to-be-processed data.
