Abstract
An apparatus includes a track segment including a channel for holding a rolling object, a first connector attachable to a first end of the track segment, and a second connector attachable to a second end of the track segment. Each of the first connector and the second connector include one or more magnets embedded therein that enable attaching the first connector and the second connector to a ferromagnetic surface.
Claims20
An assembly comprising:
- a track segment including a channel for holding a rolling object;
- a first connector attachable to a first end of the track segment, wherein the first connector is slidable onto the first end of the track segment;
- a second connector attachable to a second end of the track segment, wherein the second connector is slidable onto the second end of the track segment;
- and
- wherein each of the first connector and the second connector comprises one or more magnets embedded therein that enable attaching the first connector and the second connector to a ferromagnetic surface.
2 more elements
An assembly comprising:
- a first connector having an interior with a locking surface and two sidewalls that extend from the locking surface, the locking surface comprising a lock protrusion that fits within a lock depression of a bottom surface of a track segment;
- and
- a front face of the first connector formed at an end of the two sidewalls and the locking surface, wherein the front face comprises a female registry feature shaped to receive a male registry feature of a second connector.
An assembly comprising:
- a track segment having a channel for holding a rolling object, the track segment having sidewalls that extend from a bottom surface of the channel, wherein a top edge of each sidewall has a cutout;
- and
- a connector attachable to an end of the track segment by sliding onto the end of the track segment, wherein the connector has an upper edge that extends into the channel of the track segment, the upper edge comprising a lock protrusion that fits within the cutout of the top edge of one of the sidewalls.
