Abstract
In the present invention, a user equipment (UE) receives an UL grant that can be used while the UE is not in RRC_CONNECTED state. If the UE receives a message indicating to leave RRC_CONNECTED state, the UE starts a time alignment timer (I-TAT) when the UE leaves RRC_CONNECTED state. The UE transmits UL data using the UL grant if the UL data becomes available for transmission when the UE is not in RRC_CONNECTED state and if the I-TAT is running

1-16. (canceled)
A method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), uplink (UL) signals in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a configured grant to be used while the UE is not in RRC_CONNECTED;
- starting a time alignment timer based the UE leaving RRC_CONNECTED;
- performing UL data transmitting using the configured grant, based on i) the UE being not in RRC_CONNECTED and ii) the time alignment timer running;
- and
- performing, by the UE, no UL data transmission except a random access procedure, based on i) the UE being not in RRC_CONNECTED and ii) the time alignment timer not running
A user equipment (UE) for transmitting uplink (UL) signals in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a radio frequency (RF) transceiver;
- a processor;
- and
- a memory storing at least one program that causes the processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a configured grant to be used while the UE is not in RRC_CONNECTED;
- starting a time alignment timer based the UE leaving RRC_CONNECTED;
- performing UL data transmitting using the configured grant, based on i) the UE being not in RRC_CONNECTED and ii) the time alignment timer running;
- and
- performing no UL data transmission except a random access procedure, based on i) the UE being not in RRC_CONNECTED and ii) the time alignment timer not running.
A computer readable non-transitory storage medium storing at least one program that, when executed by at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a configured grant to be used while a user equipment (UE) is not in RRC_CONNECTED;
- starting a time alignment timer based the UE leaving RRC_CONNECTED;
- performing uplink (UL) data transmitting using the configured grant, based on i) the UE being not in RRC_CONNECTED and ii) the time alignment timer running;
- and
- performing no UL data transmission except a random access procedure, based on i) the UE being not in RRC_CONNECTED and ii) the time alignment timer not running.
