Abstract
Certain aspects of the subject matter described in this disclosure can be implemented in a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes: selecting a subset of a plurality of decoding candidates of a search space in a control channel based on a property of each of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates; monitoring the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates; and decoding control information in the control channel based on the monitoring of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates.
Claims30
An apparatus for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory, the memory and the one or more processors being configured to:
- select a subset of a plurality of decoding candidates of a search space in a control channel based on a property of each of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates;
- monitor the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates;
- and
- decode control information in the control channel based on the monitoring of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates.
An apparatus for wireless communication by a base station (BS), comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory, the memory and the one or more processors being configured to:
- select a subset of a plurality of decoding candidates of a search space in a control channel based on a property of each of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates;
- generate the control channel having control information based on the selection;
- and
- transmit the control channel to a user equipment (UE).
A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- selecting a subset of a plurality of decoding candidates of a search space in a control channel based on a property of each of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates;
- monitoring the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates;
- and
- decoding control information in the control channel based on the monitoring of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates.
A method for wireless communication by a base station (BS), comprising:
- selecting a subset of a plurality of decoding candidates of a search space in a control channel based on a property of each of the subset of the plurality of decoding candidates;
- generating the control channel having control information based on the selection;
- and
- transmitting the control channel to a user equipment (UE).
