Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information including information regarding a beamforming capability of the UE; receive configuration information indicating a beamforming configuration, wherein the beamforming configuration is based at least in part on digital beamforming, analog beamforming, or a combination thereof; and communicate in accordance with the beamforming configuration. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Claims30
An apparatus for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the memory, configured to:
- transmit capability information including information regarding a beamforming capability of the UE;
- receive configuration information indicating a beamforming configuration, wherein the beamforming configuration is based at least in part on digital beamforming, analog beamforming, or a combination thereof;
- and
- communicate in accordance with the beamforming configuration.
An apparatus for wireless communication at a base station, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the memory, configured to:
- receive capability information including information regarding a beamforming capability of a user equipment (UE);
- transmit configuration information indicating a beamforming configuration, wherein the beamforming configuration is based at least in part on digital beamforming, analog beamforming, or a combination thereof;
- and
- communicate based at least in part on the beamforming configuration.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- transmitting capability information including information regarding a beamforming capability of the UE;
- receiving configuration information indicating a beamforming configuration, wherein the beamforming configuration is based at least in part on digital beamforming, analog beamforming, or a combination thereof;
- and
- communicating in accordance with the beamforming configuration.
A method of wireless communication performed by a base station, comprising:
- receiving capability information including information regarding a beamforming capability of a user equipment (UE);
- transmitting configuration information indicating a beamforming configuration, wherein the beamforming configuration is based at least in part on digital beamforming, analog beamforming, or a combination thereof;
- and
- communicating based at least in part on the beamforming configuration.
