Abstract
A method includes displaying, via a display, an environment that includes a representation of a person associated with the device. The representation includes a virtual face with virtual facial features corresponding to respective physical facial features of the person associated with the device. The method includes detecting, via a sensor, a change in a physical facial feature of the person associated with the device. The physical facial feature indicates a physical facial expression of the person. In response to determining that the physical facial expression breaches a criterion, modifying one or more virtual facial features of the virtual face so that the virtual face indicates a virtual facial expression that satisfies the criterion.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- at a device including a sensor, a display, a non-transitory memory, and one or more processors coupled with the sensor, the display, and the non-transitory memory:
- displaying, via the display, an environment that includes a representation of a person associated with the device, wherein the representation includes a virtual face with virtual facial features corresponding to respective physical facial features of the person associated with the device;
- detecting, via the sensor, a change in one or more of the physical facial features of the person associated with the device, wherein the physical facial features indicate a physical facial expression of the person;
- and
- in response to determining that the physical facial expression breaches a criterion, modifying one or more of the virtual facial features of the virtual face so that the virtual face indicates a virtual facial expression that satisfies the criterion.
A device comprising:
- a display;
- a sensor;
- one or more processors;
- a non-transitory memory;
- and
- one or more programs stored in the non-transitory memory, which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the device to:
- display, via the display, an environment that includes a representation of a person associated with the device, wherein the representation includes a virtual face with virtual facial features corresponding to respective physical facial features of the person associated with the device;
- detect, via the sensor, a change in one or more of the physical facial features of the person associated with the device, wherein the physical facial features indicate a physical facial expression of the person;
- and
- in response to determining that the physical facial expression breaches a criterion, modify one or more of the virtual facial features of the virtual face so that the virtual face indicates a virtual facial expression that satisfies the criterion.
A non-transitory memory storing one or more programs, which, when executed by one or more processors of a device with a display and a sensor, cause the device to:
- display, via the display, an environment that includes a representation of a person associated with the device, wherein the representation includes a virtual face with virtual facial features corresponding to respective physical facial features of the person associated with the device;
- detect, via the sensor, a change in one or more of the physical facial features of the person associated with the device, wherein the physical facial features indicate a physical facial expression of the person;
- and
- in response to determining that the physical facial expression breaches a criterion, modify one or more of the virtual facial features of the virtual face so that the virtual face indicates a virtual facial expression that satisfies the criterion.
