Systems and methods for customized user interface

An ultrasound system comprising:

• a control panel for controlling one or more functions of the ultrasound system;
• at least one memory comprising computer program code;
• and
• at least one processor;
• wherein the at least one memory comprising the computer program code is configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the ultrasound system at least to:
• index locations of one or more fingers of an operator on a user interface;
• assign one or more functions of the ultrasound device to the indexed locations of the one or more fingers of the operator on the user interface;
• sense the one or more fingers of the operator near or on the indexed locations on the user interface;
• and
• perform the assigned one or more functions based on sensing the one or more fingers of the operator near or on the indexed locations.

One or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media embodying software that is operable when executed to:

• index locations of one or more fingers of an operator on a user interface;
• assign one or more functions of the ultrasound device to the indexed locations of the one or more fingers on the user interface;
• sense the one or more fingers of the operator near or on the indexed locations on the user interface;
• and
• perform the assigned one or more functions based on sensing the one or more fingers of the operator near or on the indexed locations.
