Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit configured to supply conditioned air to a conditioned space. The HVAC unit includes a first exhaust fan capable of operating at variable speeds and a second constant-speed fan. The HVAC unit also includes a controller configured to determine a target airflow to be provided to the conditioned space, cause actuation of the first exhaust fan at a variable fan speed when the target airflow is greater than zero, and cause actuation of the second exhaust fan when the target airflow is greater than an airflow threshold.

1-26. (canceled)
A heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, comprising:
- a variable-speed exhaust fan configured to discharge air from the HVAC system;
- a constant-speed exhaust fan configured to discharge air from the HVAC system;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- receive data from a pressure sensor indicative of an air pressure within a conditioned space serviced by the HVAC system;
- receive an air pressure setpoint associated with the conditioned space;
- and
- modulate the variable-speed exhaust fan and control supply of electrical power to constant-speed exhaust fan based on a difference between the air pressure and the air pressure setpoint.
A control system of a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system comprising control circuitry configured to:
- receive data indicative of a parameter within a conditioned space serviced by the HVAC system from a sensor disposed within the conditioned space;
- receive a parameter setpoint associated with the conditioned space;
- determine a difference between the parameter and the parameter setpoint;
- and
- cause modulation of a variable-speed exhaust fan and actuation of a constant-speed exhaust fan based on the difference between the parameter and the parameter setpoint.
A heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system configured to supply air to a conditioned space, comprising:
- a variable-speed exhaust fan configured to expel air from the HVAC system;
- a constant-speed exhaust fan configured to expel air from the HVAC system;
- and
- a tangible, non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by processing circuitry, cause the processing circuitry to:
- receive data indicative of an air pressure within a room of the conditioned space;
- receive an air pressure setpoint from a control device disposed within the conditioned space;
- determine a difference between the air pressure and the air pressure setpoint;
- and
- control the variable-speed exhaust fan and the constant-speed exhaust fan based on the difference between the air pressure and the air pressure setpoint.
