A system for safety control of an engineering machinery equipment, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a memory communicatively connected to the at least one processor;
• wherein
• the memory stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
• acquire spatial sensing data of a work area;
• perform obstacle detection based on the spatial sensing data to determine a position of an obstacle within the work area;
• determine a safe working range of a mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the position of the obstacle within the work area;
• and
• control a working range of the mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the safe working range.

An engineering machinery equipment, comprising:

• a mechanical structural component;
• and
• a safety control system;
• wherein the safety control system comprises:
• at least one processor;
• and a memory communicatively connected to the at least one processor;
• wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
• acquire spatial sensing data of a work area;
• perform obstacle detection based on the spatial sensing data to determine a position of an obstacle within the work area;
• determine a safe working range of a mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the position of the obstacle within the work area;
• and
• control a working range of the mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the safe working range.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer instructions, wherein the computer instructions cause a computer to execute a method comprising:

• acquiring spatial sensing data of a work area;
• performing obstacle detection based on the spatial sensing data to determine a position of an obstacle within the work area;
• determining a safe working range of a mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the position of the obstacle within the work area;
• and
• controlling a working range of the mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the safe working range.
