Abstract
An absorbent article 100 includes an absorber 10, the absorber contains water-absorbent resin particles 10a, and in the water-absorbent resin particles 10a, a water absorption rate based on the Vortex method at 300 rpm is 10 to 50 seconds.
Claims16
Water-absorbent resin particles comprising:
- a crosslinking polymer comprising a structural unit derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer,
- wherein the ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrylic acid and a salt thereof,
- a ratio of the (meth)acrylic acid and the salt thereof is 70 to 100 mol % with respect to a total amount of monomers for obtaining the water-absorbent resin particles,
- a water retention amount of physiological saline is 32 to 80 g/g,
- a water absorption rate of physiological saline based on Vortex method at 300 rpm is 35 to 50 seconds, and
- a water absorption rate of physiological saline based on Vortex method at 600 rpm is 40 to 60 seconds.
