Plant based emollient

A method of manufacturing a composition, the method comprising:

• preparing a mixture comprising coconut oil and aloe vera extract;
• warming the mixture to generate a liquid mixture comprising liquid coconut oil and liquid aloe vera extract;
• cooling the liquid mixture until a portion of the liquid coconut oil transitions to a solid state to form a partially solid mixture;
• and
• agitating the partially solid mixture until the partially solid mixture transitions to a fully solid state comprising the coconut oil in a solid state and the aloe vera extract in a solid state.

A method of preparing an emollient, the method comprising:

• preparing a mixture comprising coconut oil, aloe vera extract, an essential oil, and one or more of:
• a vinegar;
• phosphoric acid;
• sodium benzoate;
• or
• an effective amount of a preservative for extending preservation of the composition;
• warming the mixture to generate a liquid mixture comprising liquid coconut oil and liquid aloe vera extract;
• sealing the liquid mixture in a container;
• cooling the liquid mixture until a portion of the liquid coconut oil transitions to a solid state to form a partially solid mixture;
• measuring a temperature of the partially solid mixture;
• in response to the temperature of the partially solid mixture being equal to or less than 20 degrees Celsius, agitating the partially solid mixture until the partially solid mixture transitions to a fully solid state comprising the coconut oil in a solid state and the aloe vera extract in a solid state;
• wherein the coconut oil comprises from about 40% to about 60% the total composition;
• wherein the coconut oil and the aloe vera extract are present in approximately a 1:1 ratio;
• and
• wherein the composition is an emulsion that is stable in the fully solid state at temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius.
