Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or alleviating metabolic bone diseases or menopausal symptoms, comprising a complex extract of Pueraria radix and Platycodon grandiflorum as an active ingredient. When the present invention is used, metabolic bone disease or menopausal symptoms can be effectively prevented or alleviated without side effects.

A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating a metabolic bone disease or a menopausal symptom, the composition comprising:
- (a) a complex extract of Pueraria lobata and Platycodon grandiflorum as an active ingredient;
- and
- (b) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier thereof.
A food composition for preventing or alleviating a metabolic bone disease or a menopausal symptom, the composition comprising a complex extract of Pueraria lobata and Platycodon grandiflorum as an active ingredient.
A method for preventing, alleviating, or treating metabolic bone diseases or menopausal symptoms, the method comprising:
- administering to a subject in need thereof, a pharmaceutical composition or food composition comprising the complex extract of Pueraria lobata and Platycodon grandiflorum.
