Abstract
A novel canola variety designated G00917RCC01 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof. Methods for producing a canola plant that comprise crossing canola variety G00917RCC01 with another canola plant. Methods for producing a canola plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into G00917RCC01 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the canola seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. Hybrid canola seed, plant or plant part produced by crossing the canola variety G00917RCC01 or a locus conversion of G00917RCC01 with another canola variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of canola variety G00917RCC01, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202007007.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred canola variety G00917RCC01 , representative seed of the canola variety G00917RCC01 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202007007, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises all the physiological and morphological characteristics of canola variety G00917RCC01 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred canola variety G00917RCC01, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NOMA accession number 202007007 with a different Brassica plant, wherein inbred canola variety G00917RCC01 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred canola variety G00917RCC01 by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
