Abstract
The present invention relates to a method of performing a random access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes the steps of: triggering the RA procedure, wherein, when there is an ongoing scheduling request (SR) procedure on a first uplink (UL) bandwidth part (BWP), a second UL BWP is selected, wherein both an SR resource and PRACH resources are configured in the second ULBWP; and transmitting a RA preamble and a SR of the ongoing SR procedure on the second ULBWP.
Claims14
A method for performing a random access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- triggering the RA procedure,
- wherein, when there is an ongoing scheduling request (SR) procedure on a first uplink (UL) bandwidth part (BWP), a second UL BWP is selected, and wherein both an SR resource and PRACH resources are configured in the second UL BWP;
- and
- transmitting a RA preamble and a SR of the ongoing SR procedure on the second UL BWP.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- triggering a random access (RA) procedure,
- wherein, when there is an ongoing scheduling request (SR) procedure on a first uplink (UL) bandwidth part (BWP), a second UL BWP is selected, and wherein both an SR resource and PRACH resources are configured in the second UL BWP;
- and
- transmitting a RA preamble and a SR of the ongoing SR procedure on the second UL BWP.
An apparatus for a user equipment (UE), the apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- triggering a random access (RA) procedure,
- wherein, when there is an ongoing scheduling request (SR) procedure on a first uplink (UL) bandwidth part (BWP), a second UL BWP is selected, and wherein both an SR resource and PRACH resources are configured in the second UL BWP;
- and
- transmitting a RA preamble and a SR of the ongoing SR procedure on the second UL BWP.
A computer readable storage medium storing at least one computer program comprising instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations for a user equipment (UE), the operations comprising:
- triggering a random access (RA) procedure,
- wherein, when there is an ongoing scheduling request (SR) procedure on a first uplink (UL) bandwidth part (BWP), a second UL BWP is selected, and wherein both an SR resource and PRACH resources are configured in the second UL BWP;
- and
- transmitting a RA preamble and a SR of the ongoing SR procedure on the second UL BWP.
A method for receiving a random access (RA) preamble by a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving the RA preamble from a user equipment (UE);
- wherein, when there is an ongoing scheduling request (SR) procedure on a first uplink (UL) bandwidth part (BWP) in which a RA procedure is triggered by the UE, the RA preamble is received with a SR of the ongoing SR procedure on a second UL BWP in which both an SR resource and PRACH resources are configured.
A base station (BS) in a wireless communication system, the BS comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a random access (RA) preamble from a user equipment (UE);
