Abstract
A method performed by an access node can comprise receiving, from a core network (CN), resource requirements for uplink transmissions corresponding to downlink transmissions of data between the access node and a user device, receiving, from the CN, downlink data destined for the user device, determining, based on the received resource requirements, a schedule for the received downlink data and for expected uplink data corresponding to the received downlink data, and sending the schedule to the user device.
Claims18
A method performed by an access node, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a core network (CN), resource requirements for uplink transmissions corresponding to downlink transmissions of data between the access node and a user device;
- receiving, from the CN, downlink data destined for the user device;
- determining, based on the received resource requirements, a schedule for the received downlink data and for expected uplink data corresponding to the received downlink data;
- and
- sending the schedule to the user device.
An apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer-readable storage device comprising instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, are configured to cause the apparatus to:
- receive, from a core network (CN), resource requirements for uplink transmissions corresponding to downlink transmissions of data between the apparatus and a user device;
- receive, from the CN, downlink data destined for the user device;
- determine, based on the received resource requirements, a schedule for the received downlink data and for expected uplink data corresponding to the received downlink data;
- and
- send the schedule to the user device.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage device comprising instructions stored thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, are configured to cause a wireless station to:
- receive, from a core network (CN), resource requirements for uplink transmissions corresponding to downlink transmissions of data between the wireless station and a user device;
- receive, from the CN, downlink data destined for the user device;
- determine, based on the received resource requirements, a schedule for the received downlink data and for expected uplink data corresponding to the received downlink data;
- and
- send the schedule to the user device.
