Abstract
A method for reporting a radio link state indicator and a terminal device are provided, so as to resolve a problem that overheads of inter-layer interaction are large because a terminal device needs to report a state indicator in each time period. The method may be performed by the terminal device and includes: performing detection for a reference signal; and reporting a state indicator to a higher layer if the reference signal is not detected in N consecutive time periods, where N is a positive integer and N≥2.
Claims20
A method for reporting a radio link state indicator, performed by a terminal device, comprising:
- performing detection for a reference signal;
- and
- reporting a state indicator to a higher layer if the reference signal is not detected in N consecutive time periods, wherein N is a positive integer and N≥2.
A terminal device, comprising a memory, a processor, and a program stored in the memory and capable of running on the processor, wherein when the program is executed by the processor, following steps are implemented:
- performing detection for a reference signal;
- and
- reporting a state indicator to a higher layer if the reference signal is not detected in N consecutive time periods, wherein N is a positive integer and N≥2.
A computer-readable storage medium, wherein the computer-readable storage medium stores a computer program, and when the computer program is executed by a processor, following steps are implemented:
- performing detection for a reference signal;
- and
- reporting a state indicator to a higher layer if the reference signal is not detected in N consecutive time periods, wherein N is a positive integer and N≥2.
