Abstract
Digital pass verification systems and methods are disclosed herein. One or more servers are to distribute instructions on a network. The instructions, when executed, cause a first device carried by a person to at least: access a result of a diagnostic test performed on the person, the result provided by a second device; generate a machine-readable code in response to the result being negative; and display the machine-readable code on a display of the first device to enable the person to gain access to a location.
Claims20
A server to distribute instructions over a network, the server comprising:
- at least one storage device including first instructions to be executed by first processor circuitry of a mobile device carried by a person;
- second instructions in the server;
- and
- second processor circuitry to execute the second instructions to transmit the first instructions over the network to the mobile device,
- the first instructions, when executed, to cause the first processor circuitry of the mobile device to at least:
- access a result of a diagnostic test for an infectious disease performed on the person;
- cause presentation of the result on a display of the mobile device;
- generate a digital pass in response to the result being negative for the infectious disease,
- store the digital pass in a memory of the mobile device;
- cause presentation, at a first time, of the digital pass on the display to enable the person to gain access to a location;
- cause presentation, at a second time subsequent to the first time, of a plurality of health questions on the display associated with symptoms of the infectious disease;
- receive answers to the health questions from the person;
- and
- prevent, at a third time subsequent to the second time, the digital pass from being presented on the display if one or more of the answers to the health questions indicate the person has at least one symptom of the infectious disease.
One or more non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause one or more processors in a user device carried by a person to at least:
- access a result of a diagnostic test for an analyte of interest performed on a sample gathered from the person;
- cause presentation of the result on a display of the user device;
- generate a digital pass in response to the result being negative for the analyte of interest;
- store the digital pass in a memory of the user device;
- cause presentation, at a first time, of the digital pass on the display to enable the person to gain access to a location;
- cause presentation, at a second time subsequent to the first time, of a plurality of health questions on the display associated with symptoms of being ill;
- access answers to the health questions from the person;
- and
- deactivate, at a third time subsequent to the second time, the digital pass display based on one or more of the answers to one or more of the health questions.
