Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for determining at least one characteristic about a figure and searching a data set based on an indicated search area for at least one entry that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure, wherein the search area indicates which part of the data set to be searched. Displaying the at least one entry from the data set that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- determining, by the computing, at least one characteristic about a figure, wherein the figure is created independent of any data set;
- searching, by the computer, a data set based on an indicated search area for at least one entry that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure, wherein the search area indicates which part of the data set to be searched;
- and
- displaying, by the computer, the at least one entry from the data set that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure.
A computer program product comprising:
- one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media and program instructions stored on the one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media, the program instructions comprising:
- program instructions to determine at least one characteristic about a figure, wherein the figure is created independent of any data set;
- program instructions to search a data set based on an indicated search area for at least one entry that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure, wherein the search area indicates which part of the data set to be searched;
- and
- program instructions to display the at least one entry from the data set that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure.
A computer system comprising:
- one or more computer processors, one or more computer-readable storage media, and program instructions stored on one or more of the computer-readable storage media for execution by at least one of the one or more processors, the program instructions comprising:
- program instructions to determine at least one characteristic about a figure, wherein the figure is created independent of any data set;
- program instructions to search a data set based on an indicated search area for at least one entry that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure, wherein the search area indicates which part of the data set to be searched;
- and
- program instructions to display the at least one entry from the data set that falls within a threshold value of the determined at least one characteristic about the figure.
