Measuring system, measuring method, and measuring program

A measurement method for measuring position of an object, comprising:

• an imaging step of capturing the object included in an angle of view of a camera as an image by using the camera with a frame rate of 100 fps or higher;
• an IPM conversion step of determining at least a part of the image including the object as a predetermined area, and performs inverse perspective projection transportation on the image to generate an IPM image limited to the predetermined area, the IPM image being an image drawn as an overhead view of the predetermined plane including the object;
• and
• a position measurement step of measuring position of the object based on the IPM image.

An information processing apparatus of a measurement system configured to measure position of an object, comprising:

• a reception unit configured to receive an image including the object;
• an IPM conversion unit configured to set at least a part of the image including the object as a predetermined area, and to perform inverse perspective projection transportation on the image to generate an IPM image limited to the predetermined area, the IPM image being an image drawn as an overhead view of the predetermined plane including the object;
• and
• a position measurement unit configured to measure position of the object based on the IPM image.
