Abstract
A composition includes polyphenolic particles and a surfactant, on the polyphenolic particles. The composition is lipophilic. The polyphenolic particles are non-pigmentary. A dispersion includes the polyphenolic particles, the surfactant, and a carrier vehicle. The carrier vehicle may be a cosmetically-acceptable fluid or a wax that is lipophilic.

A composition, comprising:
- polyphenolic particles, and
- a surfactant, on the polyphenolic particles,
- wherein the polyphenolic particles are optionally non-pigmentary.
Lipophilic polyphenolic particles.
A dispersion, comprising:
- rutin particles,
- a surfactant, on the rutin particles and
- a carrier vehicle,
- wherein the rutin particles have a particle size of 0.1-1.0 microns, and the dispersion is pourable.
