Abstract
Arthroplasty implant systems and procedures are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, an arthroplasty implant of an arthroplasty system includes a shape memory material connecting member attached to two points of fixation of the arthroplasty implant.

An implant system, comprising:
- a stem;
- an interlocking fixation body movably disposed within the stem;
- a shape memory material connecting member connected to the interlocking fixation body and to the stem;
- and
- a holding device removably connected to the interlocking fixation body.

- a stemmed implant including a base and a stem that protrudes outwardly from the base;
- an interlocking fixation body movably disposed within the stem;
