System for adjusting a relative position of an interior body portion relative to an x-ray sensitive surface

A system for adjusting a relative position and/or a relative orientation between an interior body portion of a subject under inspection and an X-ray sensitive surface of an X-ray sensitive device, the system comprising:

• processing circuitry;
• and
• a memory containing instructions that, when executed by the processing circuitry, configure the system to:
• determine, position and/or orientation data which are indicative of one or more parameters of a position and/or an orientation of the subject;
• determine one or more position and/or orientation parameters of an interior body portion of the subject;
• wherein the processing circuitry is configured to determine the one or more position and/or orientation parameters of the interior body portion of the subject depending on a same type of model data based on a same set of attributes;
• wherein the model data are indicative of one or more parameters of an interior position and/or an interior orientation of an interior body portion of a model subject within a body of the model subject.
