Abstract
Provided is an OLED that includes, sequentially: an anode; a first emissive region; and a cathode; wherein the first emissive region comprises: a first compound; and a second compound; wherein the first compound is capable of functioning as a perovskite emitter in an OLED; wherein the second compound is capable of functioning as an emitter in an OLED, wherein the second compound is selected from the group consisting of phosphorescent emitters, fluorescent emitters, and delayed fluorescent emitters.
Claims37
An organic light emitting device (OLED) comprising, sequentially:
- an anode;
- a first emissive region;
- and
- a cathode;
- wherein the first emissive region comprises:
- a first compound;
- and
- a second compound;
- wherein the first compound is capable of functioning as a perovskite emitter in an OLED at room temperature;
- wherein the second compound is capable of functioning as an emitter in an OLED at room temperature, wherein the second compound is selected from the group consisting of phosphorescent emitters, fluorescent emitters, and delayed fluorescent emitters.

An organic light emitting device (OLED) comprising:
- an anode;
- a cathode;
- and
- an organic stack disposed between the anode and the cathode;
- wherein the organic stack comprises one or more emissive layers and one or more additional layers selected from the group consisting of a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, an electron blocking layer, a hole blocking layer, an electron transport layer, and an electron injection layer;
- wherein at least one of the one or more emissive layers and the one or more additional layers includes a first compound being capable of functioning as a perovskite emitter in an OLED at room temperature;
- and
- wherein the one or more emissive layers include a second compound capable of functioning as an emitter in an OLED at room temperature, wherein the second compound is selected from the group consisting of phosphorescent emitters, fluorescent emitters, and delayed fluorescent emitters.
