Abstract
An electric cable is providing having at least one elongated electrically conducting element containing a plurality of electrically conducting strands and at least one fluorinated polymer layer surrounding said elongated electrically conducting element, said cable further comprising a metallic layer comprising nickel interposed between the elongated electrically conducting element and the fluorinated polymer layer, and a method of manufacturing said cable.

An electric cable comprising:
- at least one elongated electrically conducting element containing a plurality of electrically conducting strands, and
- at least one fluorinated polymer layer surrounding said elongated electrically conducting element,
- wherein said cable further comprises a metallic layer comprising nickel interposed between the elongated electrically conducting element and the fluorinated polymer layer, said metallic layer comprising nickel surrounding the plurality of electrically conducting strands.
