Abstract
A control device of a vehicle including an automated traveling unit capable of executing automated traveling functions includes an acquisition unit for acquiring information regarding a use state of a remote driving service for the vehicle, and a control unit for determining a content of the automated traveling function to be executable by the automated traveling unit based on the use state of the remote driving service for the vehicle. In a case where the vehicle is not using the remote driving service, the control unit disables at least some of the automated traveling functions that are executable in a case where the vehicle is using the remote driving service.
Claims14
A control device of a vehicle including an automated traveling unit capable of executing automated traveling functions, the control device comprising:
- an acquisition unit for acquiring information regarding a use state of a remote driving service for the vehicle;
- and
- a control unit for determining a content of the automated traveling function to be executable by the automated traveling unit based on the use state of the remote driving service for the vehicle,
- wherein in a case where the vehicle is not using the remote driving service, the control unit disables at least some of the automated traveling functions that are executable in a case where the vehicle is using the remote driving service.
A control method for a vehicle including an automated traveling unit capable of executing automated traveling functions, the control method comprising:
- acquiring information regarding a use state of a remote driving service for the vehicle;
- and
- determining a content of the automated traveling function to be executable by the automated traveling unit based on the use state of the remote driving service for the vehicle,
- wherein in the determining the content, in a case where the vehicle is not using the remote driving service, at least some of the automated traveling functions that are executable in a case where the vehicle is using the remote driving service are disabled.
