Numerical control device and numerical control method

A numerical control device comprising:

• control computation circuitry to control a machine tool and a robot by using a numerical control program defined in a first coordinate system, wherein
• the control computation circuitry includes:
• a memory to store the numerical control program including a first command and a second command, the first command being a command for the machine tool described in a first programming language, the second command being a command for the robot described in the first programming language;
• and
• accessing circuitry to access a robot interface upon receiving the second command during execution of the numerical control program, the robot interface sending a command to the robot, and
• the control computation circuitry controls the machine tool on the basis of the first command, and controls the robot by accessing the robot interface by the accessing circuitry.

A numerical control device comprising:

• manual operation circuitry to receive first manual operation on a machine tool defined in a first coordinate system and second manual operation on a robot defined in a second coordinate system as operations in the first coordinate system;
• a selecting switch to switch an object to be operated by operation of the manual operation circuitry;
• and
• control computation circuitry to control the machine tool and the robot, wherein
• the control computation circuitry includes:
• control signal processing circuitry to determine whether operation data that is data associated with an operation received by the manual operation circuitry is the first manual operation or the second manual operation on the basis of a state of the selecting switch;
• and
• manual operation data converting circuitry to convert the operation data determined to be the second manual operation into operation data in the second coordinate system.

A numerical control method comprising:

• a control computing of controlling a machine tool and a robot by using a numerical control program defined in a first coordinate system, wherein
• the control computing includes:
• storing the numerical control program including a first command and a second command, the first command being a command for the machine tool described in a first programming language, the second command being a command for the robot described in the first programming language;
• converting the second command into a third command during execution of the numerical control program, the third command being a robot program used for controlling the robot;
• and
• controlling the machine tool by using the first command and controlling the robot by using the third command.
