Abstract
A photocurable composition and systems and methods of preparing and curing the photocurable composition are provided. In one example, a photocurable composition includes a photoinitiator mixture, consisting only of a mixture of biocompatible compounds, including one or more of naproxen, caffeine, uracil, quercetin, and cyanocobalamin, and a polymer resin.
Claims20
A photocurable composition, comprising:
- a photoinitiator mixture, consisting only of a mixture of biocompatible compounds, including one or more of naproxen, caffeine, uracil, quercetin, and cyanocobalamin,
- and a polymer resin.
A method of preparing a photocurable composition, comprising:
- preparing a photoinitiator mixture, wherein the photoinitiator mixture consists only of biocompatible compounds, the biocompatible compounds including,
- a photoinitiator, the photoinitiator including one or more of naproxen, aspirin, caffeine, uracil, quercetin, and cyanocobalamin, and
- mixing the photoinitiator mixture with a polymer resin.
A method of curing a photocurable composition, including:
- preparing the photocurable composition, including preparing a photoinitiator mixture, wherein the photoinitiator mixture consists only of biocompatible compounds, the biocompatible compounds including,
- a photoinitiator, the photoinitiator including one or more of naproxen, aspirin, caffeine, uracil, quercetin, and cyanocobalamin, and
- mixing the photoinitiator mixture with a polymer resin,
- and irradiating the photocurable composition with UV radiation at wavelengths other than 395 nm.
