Abstract
The present disclosure relates generally to compositions and methods for treating fibroid in a patient in need thereof, which entails administering to the patient an effective amount of an agent that inhibits the expression or activity of TDO2 or IDO1.

A method of treating fibroid in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of an agent that inhibits the expression or activity of TDO2 (tryptophan 2,3-dioxygenase) or IDO1 (indoleamine-pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenase).
