A power supply unit for an aerosol generation device includes: a connector to which a heater configured to heat an aerosol source is connected; a power supply; a boost converter connected between the power supply and the connector; and a switch connected between the boost converter and the connector.

A power supply unit for an aerosol generation device comprising:
- a connector to which a heater configured to heat an aerosol source is connected;
- a power supply;
- a boost converter connected between the power supply and the connector;
- a switch connected between the boost converter and the connector;
- and
- a controller configured to switch the switch at a duty ratio of less than 1,
- wherein the duty ratio is single and fixed.

- a connector to which a heater configured to heat an aerosol source is connected;
- a power supply;
- a boost converter connected between the power supply and the connector;
- a switch connected between the boost converter and the connector;
- and
- a controller configured to switch the switch at a duty ratio of less than 1,
- wherein the controller is configured to acquire information on a remaining capacity of the power supply, and
- wherein the controller is configured to equalize the duty ratio when information on the remaining capacity indicates a fully charged state of the power supply and the duty ratio when information on the remaining capacity indicates an end-of-discharging state of the power supply.
