## Abstract

A method, computer program product, and computer system for storing, by a computing device, a plurality of objects from a buffer to a sector on persistent storage. Protection may be applied to an object of the plurality of objects. An index may be generated to lock the object in the sector. The object of the plurality of objects may be stored from the buffer to the sector on the persistent storage based upon, at least in part, the index, wherein the sector on the persistent storage may include the plurality of objects.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A computer-implemented method comprising:
storing, by a computing device, a plurality of objects from a buffer to a sector on persistent storage, wherein storing includes:
applying protection to an object of the plurality of objects;
generating an index to lock the object in the sector; and
storing the object of the plurality of objects from the buffer to the sector on the persistent storage based upon, at least in part, the index, wherein the sector on the persistent storage includes the plurality of objects.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the protection applied to the object includes a cyclic redundancy check.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the lock is a hash based lock pool.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein storing the object includes copying unchanged objects of the plurality of objects from the buffer to corresponding locations of the plurality of objects in a sector on the persistent storage.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The computer-implemented method of claim 4 wherein storing the object further includes copying the object from the buffer to a corresponding location of the object in the sector on the persistent storage.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising allocating from the sector a portion of the plurality of objects from a same transaction.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising allocating from different sectors a portion of the plurality of objects from concurrent transactions.

### Claim 8

A computer program product residing on a computer readable storage medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon which, when executed across one or more processors, causes at least a portion of the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
storing a plurality of objects from a buffer to a sector on persistent storage, wherein storing includes:
applying protection to an object of the plurality of objects;
generating an index to lock the object in the sector; and
storing the object of the plurality of objects from the buffer to the sector on the persistent storage based upon, at least in part, the index, wherein the sector on the persistent storage includes the plurality of objects.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8 wherein the protection applied to the object includes a cyclic redundancy check.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8 wherein the lock is a hash based lock pool.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8 wherein storing the object includes copying unchanged objects of the plurality of objects from the buffer to corresponding locations of the plurality of objects in a sector on the persistent storage.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The computer program product of claim 11 wherein storing the object further includes copying the object from the buffer to a corresponding location of the object in the sector on the persistent storage.

### Claim 13 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8 wherein the operations further comprise allocating from the sector a portion of the plurality of objects from a same transaction.

### Claim 14 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8 wherein the operations further comprise allocating from different sectors a portion of the plurality of objects from concurrent transactions.

### Claim 15

A computing system including one or more processors and one or more memories configured to perform operations comprising:
storing a plurality of objects from a buffer to a sector on persistent storage, wherein storing includes:
applying protection to an object of the plurality of objects;
generating an index to lock the object in the sector; and
storing the object of the plurality of objects from the buffer to the sector on the persistent storage based upon, at least in part, the index, wherein the sector on the persistent storage includes the plurality of objects.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The computing system of claim 15 wherein the protection applied to the object includes a cyclic redundancy check.

### Claim 17 (depends on 15)

The computing system of claim 15 wherein the lock is a hash based lock pool.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

The computing system of claim 15 wherein storing the object includes copying unchanged objects of the plurality of objects from the buffer to corresponding locations of the plurality of objects in a sector on the persistent storage and further includes copying the object from the buffer to a corresponding location of the object in the sector on the persistent storage.

### Claim 19 (depends on 15)

The computing system of claim 15 wherein the operations further comprise allocating from the sector a portion of the plurality of objects from a same transaction.

### Claim 20 (depends on 15)

The computing system of claim 15 wherein the operations further comprise allocating from different sectors a portion of the plurality of objects from concurrent transactions.
