Abstract
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for training a robot. The systems and methods may provide a robotic system. The robotic system may comprise a trainable robot and a sensor. The sensor may be attached to at least one physical tool. The method may comprise using the sensor to capture movement from a user operating the at least one physical tool. The method may include using at least the movement captured to train the robot, such that upon training, the robot may be trained to perform at least the movement.
Claims24
A method for training a robot, comprising:
- (a) providing a robotic system comprising a trainable robot and a sensor, wherein said sensor is attached to at least one physical tool;
- (b) using said sensor to capture movement from a user operating said at least one physical tool;
- and
- (c) using at least said movement captured in (b) to train said robot, such that upon training, said robot is trained to perform at least said movement.
A robotic system for handling physical tools, comprising:
- (a) a robotic system comprising a sensor and a robot configured to be trainable, wherein said sensor is attached to at least one physical tool;
- (b) a sensor configured to capture movement from a user operating said at least one physical tool;
- and
- (c) a virtual reality environment configured to process and provide at least said movement captured in (b) to train said robot, such that upon training, said robot is configured to perform at least said movement.
