Abstract
A grinding device includes a support element and a preferably flexible grinding element held thereon. A carrier rests against the support element. A grinding layer is designed in such a way that in a grinding position, the grinding element is held on the support element in a frictionally locking manner.

A grinding device, comprising:
- a support element;
- a flexible grinding means held on the support element, wherein the grinding means consisting of a carrier, which bears against a closed surface of the support element, and a grinding layer,
- wherein a surface of the carrier facing towards the support element is structured and is held against the support element by frictional engagement across an entire surface of the support element in a grinding position, and
- wherein a coefficient of friction of the support element and grinding means is between 0.2 and 0.5.
