Abstract
A hydrogenolysis bimetallic supported catalyst comprising a first metal, a second metal, and a zeolitic support; wherein the first metal and the second metal are different; and wherein the first metal and the second metal can each independently be selected from the group consisting of iridium (Ir), platinum (Pt), rhodium (Rh), ruthenium (Ru), palladium (Pd), molybdenum (Mo), tungsten (W), nickel (Ni), and cobalt (Co).
Claims22
A hydrogenolysis bimetallic supported catalyst comprising a first metal, a second metal, and a zeolitic support;
- wherein the first metal and the second metal are different;
- wherein the first metal and the second metal are present in a total amount of from about 0.2 wt. % to about 1 wt. %, based on the total weight of the hydrogenolysis bimetallic supported catalyst;
- wherein the first metal and the second metal are present in a weight ratio of first metal to second metal of from about 0.3:1 to about 3:1;
- and wherein the first metal and the second metal can each independently be selected from the group consisting of iridium (Ir), platinum (Pt), rhodium (Rh), ruthenium (Ru), palladium (Pd), molybdenum (Mo), tungsten (W), nickel (Ni), and cobalt (Co).
