Flexible tube for endoscope, endoscopic medical device, and methods for producing the same

A method for producing a flexible tube for an endoscope, the method comprising:

• a step of forming, on at least an outer periphery of a flexible tube base that contains metal as a constituent material, a primer layer that includes a compound represented by general formula (1);
• and
• a step of forming a resin cover layer by covering, with a resin that includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of polyamides, polyesters, polyurethanes, and polyolefins, the primer layer formed on the outer periphery of the flexible tube base so as to be in contact with the primer layer:
• wherein LL1 represents a monovalent substituent or an n1-valent linking group, L1 represents a single bond or a divalent linking group, Y1 to Y3 each represent a substituent, and n1 is an integer of 1 to 4,
• at least one of Y1, Y2, or Y3 is a group selected from the group consisting of alkoxy groups and a hydroxy group, and when n1 is 1, none of LL1-L1 and Y1 to Y3 is a group selected from the group consisting of alkoxy groups and a hydroxy group.
