Abstract
There is provided an electrodeposition paint that forms a coating having both high insulating properties and high heat resistance. An electrodeposition paint comprising a heat-resistant resin precursor, a water-insoluble inorganic compound, a basic compound, an organic solvent, and water, wherein the water-insoluble inorganic compound content is 1 to 30% by mass relative to a total of 100% by mass of the heat-resistant resin precursor and the water-insoluble inorganic compound.
Claims6
An electrodeposition paint comprising a heat-resistant resin precursor, a water-insoluble inorganic compound, a basic compound, an organic solvent, and water, wherein the water-insoluble inorganic compound content is 1 to 30% by mass relative to a total of 100% by mass of the heat-resistant resin precursor and the water-insoluble inorganic compound.
A method of insulating an article comprising electro-depositing on a surface of the article a composition comprising a heat-resistant resin precursor, a water-insoluble inorganic compound, a basic compound, an organic solvent, and water, wherein the water-insoluble inorganic compound content is 1 to 30% by mass relative to a total of 100% by mass of the heat-resistant resin precursor and the water-insoluble inorganic compound, wherein a coating of the composition is electro-deposited on the surface of the article.
