Methods and uses of colchicine derivatives

A compound of Formula I for treatment of inflammation:

• wherein:
• Z is O or S;
• X1 is selected from a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterogeneous group;
• R2 and R3 are each independently selected from a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterogeneous group, a substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclic group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaromatic group;
• a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof, hydrate thereof, solvate thereof, tautomer thereof, optical isomer thereof, or combination thereof.
