### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one power consuming device includes at least one power distribution and data hub, and wherein the at least one power distribution and data hub supplies power to at least one peripheral device.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein one or more of the battery cover, the at least one power distribution and data hub, and the battery back plate have a curvature or a contour adapted to conform to a curvature or a contour of a load-bearing platform or a wearer.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the wearable pouch, the at least one power distribution and data hub, and/or the one or more batteries include at least one layer of a material resistant to heat.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the wearable pouch, the at least one power distribution and data hub, and/or the one or more batteries include a material resistant to bullets and/or shrapnel.

### Claim 6 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the at least one peripheral device is a tablet, a smartphone, a computer, a radio, a rangefinder, a laser designator, a targeting system, a global positioning system (GPS) device, night vision goggles, an electronic jamming system, a mine detector, a metal detector, a camera, a thermal imaging device, a short wave infrared (SWIR) device, a satellite phone, an antenna, a lighting system, an environmental system, an amplifier, a receiver, a fishfinder, a chartplotter, an aerator, a live bait well, a temperature sensor, a depth sensor, a stereo, and/or a drone.

### Claim 7 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the at least one peripheral device includes at least two peripheral devices, and wherein the power distribution and data hub is operable to transfer data between the at least two peripheral devices.

### Claim 8 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the power distribution and data hub is enclosed in the wearable pouch.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the wearable pouch includes a closeable opening through which the one or more batteries are operable to be removed from the wearable pouch, and one or more openings through which the one or more flexible omnidirectional leads from the one or more batteries can be accessed.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the closable opening can be closed by a mechanism selected from the group consisting of a zipper, a hook and loop system, one or more buttons, one or more snaps, one or more ties, one or more buckles, one or more clips, and one or more hooks.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the portable battery pack is Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE)-compatible.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the portable battery pack is operable to affix to a vest, a plate carrier, or body armor using at least one zipper.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein an interior of the wearable pouch includes a first set of straps and a second set of straps, wherein the first set of straps is oriented substantially perpendicular to the second set of straps, wherein each strap in the first set of straps is oriented substantially parallel to other straps in the first set of straps, and wherein each strap in the second set of straps is oriented substantially parallel to other straps in the second set of straps.
