The laundry treating apparatus includes a first treating apparatus having a first front panel disposed on a front face thereof, first side panels respectively disposed on both lateral sides in a lateral direction thereof, and a first drum disposed therein for accommodating laundry therein, and a second treating apparatus disposed beneath the first treating apparatus to support the first treating apparatus, wherein the second treating apparatus has a second front panel disposed on a front face thereof, second side panels respectively disposed on both side faces in the left and right direction thereof, and a second drum disposed therein for accommodating the laundry therein. An upper end of the second front panel is located at a vertical level higher than a vertical level of upper ends of the second side panels to rearwardly support lower portions of the first side panels. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A laundry treating system comprising: a first treating apparatus including a first front panel and first side panels, the first treating apparatus including a first drum configured to accommodate first laundry therein; and a second treating apparatus disposed beneath the first treating apparatus and supporting the first treating apparatus, wherein the second treating apparatus includes a second front panel and second side panels, and wherein the second treating apparatus includes a second drum configured to accommodate second laundry therein, wherein an upper end of the second front panel is positioned to be vertically higher than upper ends of the second side panels, and wherein the upper end of the second front panel contacts lower portions of the first side panels. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The laundry treating system of claim 1, wherein the second front panel includes: a front face; and lateral bending portions extending rearward from opposite lateral ends of the front face, wherein front ends of the first side panels are vertically aligned with front ends of the second side panels, and wherein the lateral bending portion of the second front panel contacts the front ends of the first side panels and the front ends of the second side panels together. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The laundry treating system of claim 1, further comprising: a control panel positioned between the first front panel and the second front panel, wherein the control panel is configured to communicate with the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus. ### Claim 4 (depends on 3) The laundry treating system of claim 3, wherein the second front panel further includes an upper bending portion extending rearward from an upper end of a front face of the second front panel, wherein the upper bending portion of the second front panel is located to be vertically higher than the upper ends of the second side panels, and wherein the upper bending portion of the second front panel supports a lower portion of the control panel. ### Claim 5 (depends on 4) The laundry treating system of claim 4, wherein the control panel includes: a bottom face facing toward the upper bending portion of the second front panel, and a panel fastening portion protruding downward from the bottom face of the control panel and extending through the upper bending portion of the second front panel to thereby coupling the bottom face of the control panel to the upper bending portion of the second front panel. ### Claim 6 (depends on 3) The laundry treating system of claim 3, wherein the second front panel further includes: an upper bending portion extending rearward from an upper end of a front face of the second front panel; and an upper fastening portion extending upward from the upper bending portion and coupled to the first treating apparatus. ### Claim 7 (depends on 6) The laundry treating system of claim 6, wherein the upper bending portion of the second front panel includes a first portion that is integral with the front face of the second front panel and curved rearward from the front face of the second front panel, wherein the upper fastening portion of the second front panel includes a second portion that is integral with a rear end of the upper bending portion and curved upward from the rear end of the upper bending portion. ### Claim 8 (depends on 7) The laundry treating system of claim 7, wherein each of the first side panels includes: a side face; and a front bending portion extending perpendicularly from a front end of the side face, wherein the upper fastening portion of the second front panel is coupled to the front bending portion of each of the first side panels. ### Claim 9 (depends on 8) The laundry treating system of claim 8, wherein the second treating apparatus includes an upper frame that is disposed between the second front panel and the second side panels and coupled to the second side panels, wherein an upper end of the upper frame of the second treating apparatus is located to be vertically higher than the second side panels, and wherein the upper end of the upper frame is coupled to the front bending portion of each of the first side panels and the upper fastening portion of the second front panel. ### Claim 10 (depends on 9) The laundry treating system of claim 9, further comprising: an insulating connection member at least partially disposed between the upper frame of the second treating apparatus and the front bending portion each of the first side panels, the insulating connection member configured to insulate the upper frame of the second treating apparatus and the upper fastening portion of the second front panel from the front bending portion each of the first side panels. ### Claim 11 (depends on 10) The laundry treating system of claim 10, wherein the upper fastening portion of the second front panel, the upper frame of the second treating apparatus, the insulating connection member, and the front bending portion of each of the first side panels are positioned to at least partially overlap with each other to provide a stacked structure, wherein the laundry treating system further includes a fastening member that penetrates the stacked structure from the upper fastening portion of the second front panel to the front bending portion of each of the first side panels to thereby fix the upper fastening portion of the second front panel to the front bending portion of each of the first side panels. ### Claim 12 (depends on 10) The laundry treating system of claim 10, wherein the first treating apparatus further includes a lower frame that is spaced apart from (i) the upper fastening portion of the second front panel and (ii) the upper frame of the second treating apparatus, the lower frame being coupled to the front bending portion of each of the first side panels, wherein the lower frame is disposed behind the control panel and coupled to the control panel. ### Claim 13 (depends on 6) The laundry treating system of claim 6, wherein the control panel includes a control panel front face, wherein the upper fastening portion of the second front panel is located behind the control panel front face and coupled to the first treating apparatus. ### Claim 14 A laundry treating system comprising: a first treating apparatus including a first front panel and first side panels, the first treating apparatus including a first drum configured to accommodate first laundry therein; and a second treating apparatus disposed beneath the first treating apparatus and supporting the first treating apparatus, wherein the second treating apparatus includes a second front panel and second side panels, and wherein the second treating apparatus includes a second drum configured to accommodate second laundry therein, wherein an upper end of the second front panel is located to be vertically higher than upper ends of the second side panels. ### Claim 15 (depends on 14) The laundry treating system of claim 14, wherein a vertical length of the second front panel is greater than vertical lengths of the second side panels. ### Claim 16 (depends on 14) The laundry treating system of claim 14, wherein the second treating apparatus further includes an upper frame having (i) a frame lower end that is disposed between the second front panel and the second side panels and (ii) a frame upper end protruding upward from the second side panels, wherein the upper frame of the second treating apparatus is coupled to the first treating apparatus. ### Claim 17 (depends on 16) The laundry treating system of claim 16, wherein the second treating apparatus includes an upper fastening portion that is disposed at the upper end of the second front panel and coupled to the first treating apparatus, wherein the upper fastening portion is disposed to cover the upper frame of the second treating apparatus and is coupled to the first treating apparatus and the upper frame of the second treating apparatus. ### Claim 18 (depends on 14) The laundry treating system of claim 14, wherein a lower end of the first front panel is located to be vertically higher than lower ends of the first side panels, wherein the upper end of the second front panel is located in front of the first side panels. ### Claim 19 A laundry treating system comprising: a first treating apparatus including a first front panel and first side panels, the first treating apparatus including a first drum configured to accommodate first laundry therein; and a second treating apparatus disposed beneath the first treating apparatus and supporting the first treating apparatus, wherein the second treating apparatus includes a second front panel and second side panels, and wherein the second treating apparatus includes a second drum configured to accommodate second laundry therein, wherein a lower end of the first front panel is located to be vertically higher than lower ends of the first side panels. ### Claim 20 (depends on 19) The laundry treating system of claim 19, wherein a vertical length of the first front panel is smaller than vertical lengths of the first side panels, and wherein an upper end of the second front panel is located in front of the first side panels.
